This piece, although my newest, is one of my all-time favorites. I love the beauty and the stillness of the woodland. If you notice, the small deer is so connected with his surroundings that he is literally a part of the forest environment.  Also, all the curves you see in this image were hand-drawn in ink on several separate pages — photo after the jump!
